Chicago’s 50th Anniversary (1967 – 2017)
On the 15th of February 2017, the legendary band Chicago celebrated their 50th anniversary, which started in 1967. In celebration, and as a tribute to the band, I have put together a Spotify playlist titled “The World Of Chicago”, which not only includes Chicago hits and album tracks, but also features solo work from present and past members of the band, including Robert Lamm, Peter Cetera, Bill Champlin, Jason Scheff, and the late great Terry Kath.
Amongst the songs in the playlist, look out for some rare tracks including Robert’s collaboration with Les Deux Love Orchestra on a cover of David Bowie’s song “This Is Not America”. Bill sings “After The Love Has Gone” with Earth, Wind, and Fire; and Jason sings “Run Like Hell, and also sings backing vocals with Irene Cara on “Soul Beat” – discover the rest and enjoy the great music!
Congratulations to Chicago on their 50th anniversary, and on their recent induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame! Many thanks for the great music over the years – cheers! 🙂
